Admission Policy

  • Admission is open to all eligible candidates without discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, gender, and place of origin or domicile.
  • Applications for admission to the various program of studies shall be called from all over Pakistan. However, foreign students seeking admission in the University shall be required to submit their applications as per HEC rules/policy.
  • The University shall invite applications for admission to various academic programs on prescribed application form, through an advertisement by the Registrar office.
  • Candidates shall be required to submit application forms, within the stipulated time, complete in all respects, along with the following documents:
  1. Attested copies of S.S.C, H.S.S.C. or equivalent examination certificates / degrees.
  2. Attested copies of detailed marks certificates of all academic certificates.
  3. Attested copy of character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
  4. Attested copy of Domicile/Local certificate.
  5. Four passport size photographs.
  6. Migration certificate (original)
  7. Attested copy of computerized national identity card or form ‘B’ or CNIC copy of father/guardian.
  8. Application of each applicant shall be accompanied by a declaration signed by the applicant and countersigned by his father/guardian stating that he will abide by the Statutes, Rules & Regulations of the University and instructions issued from time to time by the Vice Chancellor, Dean, Chairperson or Teacher.
  9. Candidates applying for more than one disciplines shall be required to submit a separate application form along with all supporting documents for each discipline category.

Eligibility Criteria

All academics departments may set the specific eligibility requirements for admission to their respective programs of study offering, however the minimum general eligibility requirement for admission are given below:

  • For Admission to undergraduate 4-years Bachelor Degree Program an applicant has acquired FA/FSC or equivalent from any recognized institution, with second division at least  50% marks for annual system or CGPA (2.5/4 C Grade) for semester system, shall be eligible for admission to the Bachelor Degree Programs.
  • For Admission to graduate 2-years Master Degree Program an applicant holding 02 years Bachelor/equivalent degree from any recognized institution, with second division at least 50% marks for annual system or CGPA (2.5/4 C Grade) for semester system, shall be eligible for admission to the Bachelor Degree Programs.
    • A candidate declared eligible for admission to a program shall appear before the Departmental Admission Committee (DAC) for test and interview.
    • There shall be a Departmental Admission Committee consisting of the following nominated by the Dean of the University:
  • Head of the Department
  • Two Senior Faculty Members
    • Admission shall be granted strictly on merit.
    • The Departmental Admission Committee submit the list of admitted candidates to the DEAN for approval.
    • If any candidate fails to appear before the Admission Committee at the specified time and venue, he/she shall not be considered for admission and the seat shall be offered to the next candidate on merit.
    • All the candidates shall be required to bring the relevant original documents for verification at the time of the interview.
    • Candidate selected for admission must meet/fulfill the admission requirements within the notified period, failing which their right of admission shall stand forfeited and the admission will be offered to the next candidate on waiting list.
    • Wherever the Equivalence certificate of academic qualifications required from an applicant, the equivalency shall only be acceptable by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), the concerned Board or HEC provided equivalent certificate.
    • Within 07 days of completion of admission, the concerned department shall send admission files of all the newly admitted students to the Registrar for registration. The Registrar will assign registration number and will notify the admission.
    • All admissions shall remain provisional till verification of all the documents of newly admitted students by the Registrar. If any student is found guilty for submission of fake documents, his admission shall be cancelled immediately without any notice at any stage.
    • The University may suspend any particular discipline if the number of applicants are insufficient or due to any other reasons. In such cases, the applicants may be considered for admission to another discipline subject to meeting prescribed eligibility criteria, merit and availability of seats.
    • The following categories of candidates shall not be eligible for admission:
  • Who have got third division in the pre-requisite qualification required for admission to the specific Degree program of the University.
  • who is already registered in any degree programme in this University or any other institute. In case of dual registration, admission of the student will be cancelled without any prior notice.
  • who have ceased to be students of this University on disciplinary grounds.
    • The Registrar may relax any admission criteria if required.
